The Art & Design Block underwent a radical transformation to become a high functioning creative space to better serve staff and students.

It became clear to the academy that converting standard teaching classrooms into specialist science classrooms would allow them to group practical teaching of science into a focused location.
Extension
Dining Hall
Following an increased intake of 8 forms of entry to 12, the school needed to expand its catering facility to accommodate the new students.
The hall was designed around the principals of efficiency, safety, and inclusivity, with the ambition to create an open airy space filled with natural light.
New Build
Assembly Hall
Performances and presentations to year groups are an important part of the identity of the school, and wanted to create a new performance hall which would facilitate major term events and open evenings
Special Educational Needs
Enhanced Provision Unit
The school was awarded funding to provide additional teaching space for students who found it difficult to learn within a large classroom environment. The enhanced provision unit caters for these students needs and provides a quieter place to learn within the busy school.

The challenge facing schools is the ability to standardise general teaching facilities, and ensure a uniform standard across all classrooms. Providing cohesion of spaces and standardisation of teaching equipment.

Creating tough and durable sporting facilities that allow students to excel. These high impact spaces are designed to DfE and Sport England specifications and given a flourish of home colours to promote team spirit.
